Mansfield Pollard’s managing director, Joanna Robinson, has been named a finalist in this year’s inaugural IoD Director of the Year Awards (Yorkshire and North East division).
The awards celebrate the crème de la crème of business leaders in Yorkshire and the North East and applaud individuals whose creativity, leadership and responsible business practices have led to success for their organisation and the community.
Gillian Southern MBE, Wessington Cryogenics Ltd, Mohamed Aslam MBE, Aagrah Restaurant Group and Paul Teasdale, Premier Technical Services Group have also been shortlisted in the Mid-Market Director category.
Joanna joined Mansfield Pollard in 2002 as financial controller and soon established herself as a significant member of the management team and became heavily involved in the general running of the company. She became finance director in 2007, then managing director in 2013 following unanimous backing from the board.
The awards take place at Leeds Crowne Plaza Hotel on Thursday 30 June. The IoD is the UK’s longest running independent organisation for professional leaders. Their annual awards recognise directors who have shown outstanding leadership in their business area.
