Managing director of Mansfield Pollard, Joanna Robinson, has been named a finalist in this year’s inaugural Yorkshire Business Leader Awards.

Managing director of Mansfield Pollard, Joanna Robinson, has been named a finalist in this year’s inaugural Yorkshire Business Leader Awards.

Joanna became the MD of the company, which supplies energy efficient ventilation and sound management equipment to a global consumer base, in early 2013 and quickly established a clear vision for the future of the business. She champions and has built a culture based on customer focus, quality, integrity, innovation and fun.

Her leadership has been characterised by her creation of a clear strategy for the future development of the business and by her willingness to engage with others, encourage team development, invest in people, and take measured risks. These attributes have contributed to Mansfield Pollard's recent successes.

The company now employs 160 staff and since Joanna took over as MD, sales have grown by a third with the business working on projects on a national and international basis.

She will learn whether she has won the award at a ceremony in Sheffield on 10th March.

The awards, which are arranged by the Yorkshire Business Insider, identify and celebrate the people who are the entrepreneurial drive behind the region’s most successful companies.

Joanna Robinson said: 'It is a huge honour to have been shortlisted for the Yorkshire Business Leaders Company Director of the Year award. I am exceptionally proud of Mansfield Pollard’s achievements over the last three years and pleased with the strong growth which we have seen for our bespoke air management solutions.'

This arena regularly hosts large events such as concerts, conferences, theatre plays, exhibitions, live music and other conventions – so the site must have an energy efficient and carbon-reducing hot water system to achieve NetZero.
