This is disappointing
By AT
A decade or so ago the guy in charge of council housing resigned following the sad death of a tenant and H&F spent a lot of time and effort introducing processes that were supposed to stop this from ever happening again. It is a massive and difficult task to conduct such inspections across such a wide range of properties, but nevertheless you would think the lesson would have been learned.

More than disappointing!

I have no doubt that the council officer(s) responsible will retain their jobs and it will be simply another 'learning' exercise for this local authority.
