Hitachi has appointed Stuart Hampson as area sales manager for the north west of the UK and Chris Kargakis as area sales manager south west, as its continues to grow its air conditioning and heating products business.
It has also appointed a new distributor - Alpha Air Distribution - to expand its valued distributor network for its product range. In addition, it recently extended its UK direct sales operation to include its Samurai range of chillers.

Hitachi recently launched (1 April) a new company in Europe, Hitachi Air Conditioning Europe SAS, incorporating all activities for air conditioning products, including sales, manufacture and service operations across the European market.

Martin Richards, UK & Ireland manager, Air Conditioning Europe SAS, said: 'This new organisation, under one management and leadership team, will bring benefits for everyone, but especially for our partners, distributors and customers. It will enable us to adapt more quickly to their needs, as well as to events, trends and market movements.'
