Drayton makes two senior appointments to support future growth

Drayton has announced the appointment of a new general manager and product manager for heating controls, as the business continues to strengthen its nationwide growth.

Chintan Vyas and Sébastien Rey join Drayton

Sébastien Rey joins Drayton as general manager, bringing more than 19 years’ experience in the residential and small buildings market at Schneider Electric. In his new role, Sébastien will lead the strategic direction of the business, with a focus on supporting the continued growth of Drayton’s Plymouth site and building on the brand’s strong market position in 2026 and beyond.

Alongside Sébastien, Chintan Vyas has been appointed product manager for heating controls, with responsibility for Drayton’s Smart Home and Wiser portfolio, including its market-leading heating control solutions.

Chintan brings more than 14 years of experience across the energy technology sector and joins the business at a key time for Drayton’s expanding smart controls offering, including the upcoming launch of the Wiser 2nd Generation smart heating and automation system.

Speaking about his appointment, Sébastien said: 'I am delighted to be joining Drayton at such an important time for the UK heating market. With a strong heritage and a talented team in Plymouth, we have a unique opportunity to accelerate growth, expand our business and further strengthen our leadership position.

“I’m looking forward to leading the next phase of that growth at a time of significant energy transition and transformation across the heating sector. I believe our expertise in Plymouth positions us strongly, both in the UK and beyond, to play a meaningful role in shaping the future of heating.

“My focus will be on building on this momentum, supporting our customers and partners, and driving the next phase of innovation in smart heating solutions.'

Chintan added: “Drayton’s range of smart home solutions really stands out in the market, and the upcoming launch of Wiser 2nd Generation this year will strengthen that position even further. I’m looking forward to working closely with customers and industry partners to communicate the benefits of our solutions, while collaborating with the team to continue evolving the offering.”
