Cofely wins major FM contract

Energy services company Cofely has been appointed facilities management services provider for East London LIFT Co for the next five years.

The company will deliver the technical facilities management services such as building maintenance and lifecycle management for facilities that East London LIFT Co becomes involved in.
East London LIFT Co was the first LIFT (Local Improvement Finance Trust) to be formed in England and is now one of the largest in the country, having completed seven healthcare projects with a further four under development.
NHS LIFT schemes were designed by the Department of Health as a vehicle for improving and developing front line primary and community care facilities with financial assistance from the private sector. COFELY has played a key role in the success of the LIFT concept since its inception and, in addition to East London LIFT, is also delivering energy management, lifecycle management and other support services to LIFTs in Stockport, Sheffield, Dudley, Oxford, Oldham, Bristol and Cornwall.
Cofely is a GDF SUEZ company offering a range of services including the design, installation and management of local and renewable energy solutions and the delivery of integrated facilities services.
