Japanese air conditioning manufacturer Daikin has contacted police in Australia after the launch of a website which the company says falsely claims to be Daikin Air Australia and New Zealand. Daikin says it considers the website a serious breach of brand, copyright and intellectual property.

Following the update on the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), boiler and renewables manufacturer Vokèra is concerned that the potential delay may be a hindrance. While the scheme will be introduced in 2011, it will be phased in with a view to clarifying the finer details in 2012.
