Airedale strengthens commercial team

Cooling specialist, Airedale International, is pleased to welcome on board a further expert in refrigeration and air conditioning to strengthen its commercial team.Rob Rhodes (pictured right) joins Airedale as area sales Engineer for the North West alongside Paul Golding who has covered the area for 14 years. The two have many years’ combined experience in process cooling and data centre applications.Rob joined the industry as an apprentice with one of the biggest refrigeration and air conditioning contractors before moving into application sales and later project management and then into field sales. His 33 years in the industry have seen him involved in a diversity of projects ranging from a £1 million heating and cooling installation for Stafford Crown Court to clean rooms for the University of Heraklion, Crete. Rob and Paul report into Jonathan Jones who was promoted to northern area sales manager earlier this year. Jonathan said: “We are delighted to welcome Rob to Airedale. His extensive background across a wide range of solutions including air handling units and strong project management skills are a perfect fit with the team and, armed with his hefty dose of humour, I’m convinced our partners and customers in the North West will find him a great addition to the team and a pleasure to deal with.”Born in Birmingham, Rob moved to the North West when he married. He has two children aged 18 and 15 and is a keen golfer, both spectating and playing. He also helps out at the junior section of Lytham Green Drive Golf Club, Lancashire. The family pet is an Airedale terrier which Jonathan is keen to state is not a prerequisite for working at Airedale. He was attracted to the business by Airedale’s strength in systems design, controls integration and service provision which allows the manufacturer to provide a complete solution to a wide range of cooling applications.
