The project was designed to deliver reliability, energy efficiency, and minimal disruption during installation. As a result, more than 350 pupils and staff across the infant and junior schools now benefit from a robust solution tailored to their daily needs.
Working closely with ACV UK’s National Sales Manager, Andy Devlin, specialist contractor CHL Mechanical Services designed and installed a bespoke system that included two Evo S wall-mounted condensing boilers for the infant school, and two Evo S boilers alongside two WaterMaster Evo gas-fired condensing water heaters for the junior school. The new equipment was housed in a refurbished external plant room to help minimise disruption.
“Evo S and WaterMaster Evo provided the ideal solution for this project,” explains Philip Cornes of CHL Mechanical Services. “We’ve worked with ACV for over 15 years, and the support is always outstanding. From the initial enquiry through to aftercare, the ACV team is knowledgeable, responsive, and a pleasure to deal with.”
ACV’s Evo S boilers offer a compact, modular design that makes them ideally suited to plant room upgrades. Offering high efficiency and low NOx emissions, the chosen boilers support the academy’s energy and sustainability goals. Additionally, the WaterMaster Evo provides rapid hot water recovery, ensuring a consistent supply during peak demand periods, which is a crucial factor for busy school environments with fluctuating usage patterns.
Thanks to excellent product availability and swift turnaround, the installation was completed in just four weeks, without impacting the school’s daily operations.
Whiston Willis Primary Academy now benefits from a fully operational, energy-efficient solution backed by ACV UK’s comprehensive warranty and aftercare support, giving the school complete peace of mind for years to come.
