The practical Wilo plug enables you to connect it to the power supply without any tools. "Red-button technology" not only helps installers complete the installation process quickly, but also helps them apply all settings with precision. The "constant differential pressure" control mode is available for underfloor heating systems and "variable" control mode is available for radiators. "Via an LED display the Wilo-Yonos PICO informs you about the main parameters, such as the current power consumption in watts or the delivery head settings," explained Huth. "This means all relevant parameters are visible at a glance and can be adjusted if necessary."
Integrated safety for smooth operation
To keep things running smoothly, the Wilo-Yonos PICO includes important safety functions: motor protection is integrated as standard, as is an automatic unblocking function. "In addition to this, the pump venting function lets you remove unwanted air from the pump's rotor chamber simply and conveniently," added Huth.

With an electronically controlled motor and a minimum power consumption of just four watts, the Wilo-Yonos PICO is also one of the leading high-efficiency standard pumps. "By replacing a pump without speed control, home owners can save up to £137 on electricity every year," estimated Huth. "When the heat requirement is low the Wilo-Yonos PICO restricts its speed automatically, ensuring that every watt of electricity is utilised to the maximum." This is also evidence of its energy efficiency index: with an EEI of = 0.20 the Wilo-Yonos PICO surpasses the requirements of the ErP Guideline for 2015. At the same time, the glandless circulation pump can easily reach maximum delivery heads of four to six metres in small heating circuits.
