Since its launch in June 2013 at Hearth & Home exhibition, the SFL UK App has proved extremely popular with stove installers as an on-site flue-system price calculator. The App allows you to generate a list-price chimney quote in a matter of seconds in front of your customer, using some simple measurements. Once the quote is generated, the installer can contact a supplier of SFL products to retrieve a full bill of materials using the unique quote reference.
Having listened to customer feedback there have been a number of key improvements made, including a facility to directly email quotes to your chosen distributor and more information within the quote. Most importantly, you can now make your own job notes before sending the quote by email!
Several new features available from your supplier include an enlarged drawing of the system which can be provided with your bill of materials and improvements to the printable quote.
The SFL UK App takes the hard work out of stove sales. No longer do you have to make time-consuming reference to catalogues and pricelists, returning later to the customer with a price and potentially losing out on faster competition. You can have a quote in front of your customer in no time once you are familiar with the tool. It’s also proving useful for ball-park quotes to be made over the phone by office staff, or for the customer to understand more about their flue requirements.
