4See Risk Management acquires energy consultancy

4See Risk Management, a leading health and safety consultancy, has acquired the Milton Keynes based company Burcote Consultancy.
The purchase of Burcote enhances Towcester based 4See's strategy of developing a full range of compliance and strategic consultancy services to its clients in all sectors. It comes 18 months after the addition of ClearView Safety, which already provides cost effective, non-management training in areas such as first aid, fire safety and manual handling.
Burcote is a leading energy, environmental and sustainability consultancy, providing practical solutions for a wide range of issues impacting on the built environment. It offers clients practical solutions that provide the greatest commercial benefit.
Mike Walker, managing director of the 4See Group, said: 'Adding the skills of the Burcote team to 4See is an extremely exciting development for us. Not only does it provide the clients of both organisations with an extended range of high level services, but it significantly strengthens the Group's position as a market leader in the compliance sector.'
Ruth Gilbody, sales and marketing director of Burcote Consultancy, said: 'Merging the companies strengthens the platform from which to build and grow the businesses. This strategic decision harnesses a natural fit between health, safety and environmental compliance services and provides a clear focus for the Group to deliver high quality environmental management consultancy.'
